The premise was that everyone selling caption help was generating them with AI, and generated captions do not perform. So instead of generating anything, I went through a very large number of Instagram posts that had actually gone viral and pulled out the captions that made people comment, save and share rather than just double-tap.
What shipped was a kit rather than a single thing: the caption formula, a content optimisation checklist, a prompt guide, a virality score, an AI generator, and the captions themselves, filterable by niche.
Launched on Product Hunt on 6 September 2023 and finished the day at #10.
